About Advanced Radiology

In 1946, a small group of doctors joined together to provide coordinated radiology services at several Quad City area hospitals. As more physicians came to the area, the Illinois-based physicians formed Moline Radiology Associates, SC in 1969. Advanced Radiology, S.C. was officially named in 1993 through the professional merger of Moline Radiology Associates, SC, Rock Island Radiology Associates, and Quad City Radiology.

Today Advanced Radiology is comprised of sub-specialized board certified radiologists and has since expanded to provide professional imaging services to hospitals and facilities across Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Advanced Radiology radiologists are board certified and multiple subspecialties are represented in the group. All radiologists are fully licensed and privileged in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin.

For more than 50 years, Advanced Radiology has been active in its administrative, clinical, and philanthropic support of the medical community. Our radiologists have served in multiple medical staff leadership positions at all of the hospitals where we provide services.

Advanced Radiology’s main reading location is located at the 615 Valley View building in Moline. The radiologists provide services 365 days a year. Advanced Radiology’s business office contains an in-house billing department, dedicated physician credentialing and compliance personnel, and managed care contracting services.
