Dr. Bird’s hometown is Davenport, Iowa. She studied biology at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana before entering medical school at the University of Iowa. After completing medical school, Dr. Bird started her Radiology residency at the University of Iowa. Dr. Bird joined Advanced Radiology, S.C. in July 1994. She has been board certified in Radiology since June 1994.
